Description
The Yealink MVC-BYOD-Extender turns a Microsoft Teams Rooms space built on a Yealink MVC system into a bring-your-own-meeting room. Plug its 1.5 m USB 2.0 Type-A cable into a laptop, run any video software, and the meeting uses the room's audio and video equipment.
The box has a VCH port (RJ-45) and needs only a network cable to deploy, with distances of up to 100 m; a 7.5 m CAT5e cable is in the box, and Yealink quotes 5 minutes for installation and deployment. It is plug and play and measures 89 × 48 × 17 mm. Yealink states that it supports only the MVC400, MVC640-wireless, MVC840, MVC860, MVC940 with AVHub and MVC960.
Ideal for: offices in Oman that already run one of those Yealink MVC Teams rooms and also host meetings on other UC platforms from a guest's or employee's laptop.

Do you install?
Yes. Installation is available across Oman through our partner installation teams. Its scope — mounting, cabling, positioning, commissioning and handover — is written into the quotation, so anything outside it is clear before the visit.
What warranty applies?
The manufacturer's warranty applies, with the terms confirmed on your quotation. The quotation states the warranty holder, period and service level, and we coordinate any claim with the manufacturer or its authorised service partner on your behalf.
