Description
The Yealink VCM35 is a wired video conferencing microphone array designed for the new generation of Yealink video conferencing systems. A built-in 3-microphone array covers a 5 m (16 ft) radius with 360° omnidirectional pickup, and Yealink Acoustic Echo Canceling and Noise Proof Technology reduce ambient noise by up to 90 dB for full-duplex calls. Voice activity detection is built in.
Units are deployed in a star-cascade, so several microphones can be spread around a table to cover rooms of different sizes. A touchpad mutes the microphone, and an LED shows its status: green while picking up audio, red when muted. The puck measures Ø100 × 17 mm and weighs 199 g, and it ships with an RJ45 connector for the Ethernet cable and double-sided tape.
