Description
The Yealink YPS20 is a surface-mount partition sensor for divisible meeting rooms. It uses a diffuse-reflection infrared beam from an 850 nm LED to sense the position of a movable partition at up to 1.5 m, and ships with a 10 m cable so it can be positioned where it best detects the partition.
Wired to the GPIO interface of the Yealink AP08, the YPS20 lets Yealink Room Designer software and the Yealink Room Controller switch the room's devices to the right layout when the wall opens or closes. Response time is less than 0.5 ms, sensitivity is set with a single knob, and a 270° knob selects Dark ON or Light ON. Orange and green indicators show action and stable status. The sensor runs on DC 12-24 V and draws less than 25 mA, with NPN/PNP output and reverse and short-circuit protection. Its ABS housing with PMMA lens is rated IP65 to the IEC standard.
Ideal for: hotel ballrooms, training suites and divisible boardrooms in Oman where a Yealink AP08-based room system must follow the partition without manual changes.
